Well yes Clinton and Bush certainly charge sizable fees to address elite crowds or prestigious universities with budgets for such expenditures, but in times of crisis, do they ask for such compensation, to help with Haiti for instance? And aren't we in a time of crisis according to the Tea Party movement, one of epic historic proportions? In light of that, would a prominent national figure who has an income much larger than most Americans charge high fees to address a grass movement they helped spark and passionately support? Perhaps so.

Good thing the tea party didn't ask former presidents Clinton or Bush to speak. Palin only gets a tenth of what Clinton charges and Bush asks $3571 per minute according to some sources. One thing we can be sure of...the tea party goers won't be asking Palin to redistribute her wealth.
